Before work starts
Provide the site address, drawings, tile schedule, approximate quantities and programme. Identify who supplies tiles and who is responsible for demolition, levelling, waterproofing, sealants and final cleaning. Where a finish is specified by a designer, proposed substitutions should be agreed before purchasing. Site access and storage arrangements also need to be clear.
What affects the quote?
Commercial tiling is priced against the actual specification. Floor preparation, tile format, patterns, edge details, wet-area work, access and staging can change the cost. We identify inclusions and exclusions so a quotation can be compared against the same scope. Unexpected substrate conditions are discussed before additional work proceeds.
